North Sound is a diminutive marine area safeguarded by a barrier reef in Grand Cayman. North Sound has a diameter of approximately 5 miles. Stingray City is situated in North Sound, whereas Coral Gardens is approximately half a mile to the west of Stingray City. Coral Gardens is among the premier snorkeling locations in proximity to Stingray City. The elevated density of coral heads indicates a significant presence of fish. Occasionally, wild turtles and lobsters may also be observed.
