Overview

Let me take you on an unforgettable day trip to my native Danube Bend, one of the most beautiful areas of Hungary, in my comfy and safe Mitsubishi Outlander 4WD. This tour is special because, in addition to the must-sees — the panoramic medieval Castle of Visegrád, the picturesque Basilica of Esztergom, and the Mediterranean-style old town of Szentendre, the Town of Painters — we’ll make unique shorter stops that reveal the full cultural, historical, and natural charm of the region. In Esztergom, you can explore the medieval treasures of the Christian Museum and cross into Slovakia for the best views of the basilica and the old town. After Visegrád, we’ll visit the Pilis Biosphere Reserve, filled with creeks, waterfalls, and trout-filled lakes, where you can also try local trout or wild game in a cozy forest restaurant. In Szentendre, we’ll stop at the world-famous Marzipan Museum with its life-size creations. I’ll stay flexible with timing, stops, and meals — it’s your day, your pace.
