Meeting point
We can sometimes meet in Crickhowell and take you to the flying site, but you may also drive to wherever we're flying that day, allowing you to leave shortly after your flight.

We can sometimes meet in Crickhowell and take you to the flying site, but you may also drive to wherever we're flying that day, allowing you to leave shortly after your flight.
During the session, we'll start with an introduction to the sport and our team. We'll then usually take a short walk to the take off area, and then fly on the tandem paraglider, with one of our former military paragliding instructors for up to 40 minutes. The flight will usually involve soaring on a mountain ridge like Hay Bluff, Blorenge, Hatterall Ridge or Nantymoel and between the spring and autumn, can also involve thermal flying up to the cloudbase. This could be as high as 5000ft, and we're often joined by Red Kites and other birds of prey whilst soaring. After landing, you are welcome to stay and watch other flights, enjoy the views from the hill, or to leave and continue your day.
