Sanahin Monastery is a 10th-century Armenian monastic complex located in the village of Sanahin, near Alaverdi in Armenia's Lori Province. Established between 928 and 944, it became a prominent center of learning, renowned for its school of illuminators and calligraphers. The complex includes several churches, a scriptorium, a library, and a bell tower, all exemplifying Armenian medieval architecture.
