Peter Iredale Ship WreckPeter Iredale was a four-masted steel bark that ran ashore on October 25, 1906, on the Oregon coast while en route to the Columbia River. The ship was abandoned on Clatsop Spit near Fort Stevens in Warrenton, about four miles (6 km) south of the Columbia River channel. Today, the wreckage is still visible and serves as a popular tourist attraction, being one of the most accessible shipwrecks of the Graveyard of the Pacific.
