Feel the weight of history in Treblinka, the site of two Nazi camps: the Extermination Camp and the Penal Labour Camp, together covering the area of 34 ha. This is the closest Nazi camp to Warsaw, only 1-hour drive from the city. You will travel to Treblinka from Warsaw with a local guide who will thoroughly explain the history of the camp, as well as the history of the Warsaw Ghetto and Jews in Poland. You will visit two most important Jewish Memorials in Warsaw: Umchlagplatz - a place from where the Jews were deported to Treblinka and the Ghetto Heroes Monument, commemorating the Jews killed during the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising.
