Overview
Our private trip takes us through the picturesque Troodos Mountains, known for lush forests and fresh air. At the foot lies Omodos, a charming village with cobbled streets and the Timios Stavros Monastery, home to a relic of the Holy Cross.
We will visit Pedoulas and Prodromos villages before heading to the famous Kykkos Monastery, founded in the 11th century. One of the richest monasteries in Cyprus, it houses the revered Virgin Mary icon, said to be painted by St. Luke. The monastery offers breathtaking views of the countryside.
Nearby, we will visit the Tomb of Archbishop Makarios on Mount Throni (1,318m), overlooking Kykkos Monastery (1,140m). His final resting place offers stunning views of Cyprus and is a key pilgrimage site.
Lastly, we will stop at a winery to taste Commandaria, Zivania, and other local wines.
On the way back to Limassol we will visit the Birthplace of APHRODITE - this is one of the most stunning places on the coast of Cyprus.

OmodosAt the foot of the mountains among vineyards, lies Omodos village. We will walk through its narrow cobbled streets and visit Timios Stavros Monastery. The monastery is famous for containing a piece of the Holy Cross and Rope.

The Tomb of Archbishop Makarios III is located on mount Troni, which rises above the Kykkos Monastery. Makarios was the country`s spiritual leader and most respected politician after independence in 1960. The height of the mountain of Throni is 1318 meters. The Tomb of Archbishop Makarios III is an important historical and cultural site in Cyprus and serves as a reminder of the Archbishop's legacy and contributions to the country. It is also a symbol of the strong connection between religion and politics in Cyprus, a theme that has played an important role in the country's history.

On the way back to Paphos we will visit the Birthplace of Aphrodite – this is one of the most stunning places on the coast of Cyprus, where, and for a good reason, Aphrodite emerged from the sea foam. It is believed that bathing in these waters prolongs youth and beauty.
