Overview
The exploration begins with equipment preparation and a safety talk, ensuring you are ready for the tour. You will descend to the Cochea River Trail, through a beautiful gallery forest until you reach the exciting launch point. As you float on the river, you can admire the lush greenery, hear the murmur of the water and feel the gentle breeze. Depending on the flow of the river, you will experience exciting rapids or quiet sections with natural pools, providing a unique experience of connection with nature.
The trail can be done only the tour or with the adventure of tubing.

Meeting point
The meeting point is the Hacienda Los Molinos Boutique Hotel, at the reception. The Hotel is located in the El Francés area of Alto Boquete. If you travel by bus we can pick you up at the stop if we are notified in advance.

The meeting point is the Hacienda Los Molinos Boutique Hotel, at the reception. The Hotel is located in the El Francés area of Alto Boquete. If you travel by bus we can pick you up at the stop if we are notified in advance.
Upon arrival at the hotel they meet with the guides, sign the responsibility and prepare to descend the trail. The trail drop takes approximately 20 minutes and the tubing launch point is 10 minutes away. Depending on the river flow there may be rapids from category 1 to 3. It can take anywhere from half an hour to an hour and a half if they decide to repeat the tour in water. The trail climb takes 30-40 minutes depending on the conditions of the participants.
If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.
