Overview

A walking tour through Prague’s four main squares (Hradčany, Lesser Town, Old Town, and Wenceslas) takes you through centuries, from the 11th to the 21st.
Prague is called the "heart of Europe" for a reason—many events that shook the continent, like the Reformation and the Thirty Years' War, began here. It has seen both glory, as the capital of the Holy Roman Empire and young Czechoslovakia, and decline, as a mere city of Austro-Hungary. Its medieval churches, baroque palaces, and Bauhaus quarters hold memories of it all.
For centuries, Prague was a crossroads of German, Jewish, and Czech cultures. The Golem was created here; Doctor Faust lived here. It’s linked to Mozart, Kafka, and Milos Forman.
This is a 4-hour-long walk, at a moderate pace, with stops at sights for storytelling and conversation. It runs in small groups in a non-scripted conversational format and is fully exterior. You'll get practical advice too.
