These spots were once state-subsidized canteens, and today they remain beloved by locals for their nostalgic charm and honest Polish cooking. At our first stop, you’ll taste authentic pierogi—Poland’s famous stuffed dumplings—just like grandma used to make. We’ll also sip on kompot, a traditional homemade fruit drink that’s always on the table in places like this. It’s sweet, red, and full of history—just like the bar itself.
