As you make your way to the North York National Park, you'll stop at the market town of Helmsley where you can view the medieval castle, explore the quaint shops or even have a leisurely Yorkshire brew in one of the cafes. After exploring the heart of the Moors, with stunning views for as far as the eye can see, you'll then travel to Whitby.
Here, you'll have three hours of free time to enjoy! Visit Whitby's newest attraction, the Endeavour Experience, a full-size replica of the HM Bark Endeavour, the Captain Cook Museum, see the place that inspired the Dracula books at Whitby Abbey and explore the bustling port and waterfront. You can even try fish and chips from the famous Magpie Café.
You'll then visit the picture-postcard village of Goathland, filming location of Hogsmeade station in the Harry Potter films. Before heading back to York, prepare to be spellbound at the Hole of Horcum.
