Drawing inspiration from Gregory Maguire's novel, Wicked provides a fascinating backstory and future scenarios for L. Frank Baum's cherished characters from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. It unveils the decisions and events that mould the destinies of two unlikely university friends on their path to becoming Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
