Hottentots Holland Nature ReserveLocated just over an hour from Cape Town, the Cape Canopy Tour is situated in the scenic Elgin Valley, within CapeNature’s Hottentots Holland Nature Reserve—a designated World Heritage Site. The tour features eleven thrilling zipline slides, some stretching over 300 meters. Each slide concludes on a platform built directly onto the cliffs and fynbos-covered slopes high above the Riviersonderend Gorge. A unique highlight guaranteed to be unforgettable is the suspension bridge crossing a narrow sandstone ravine, suspended high above a spectacular double waterfall. The Cape Canopy Tour is a fully guided nature experience that strongly emphasizes guest comfort and safety. Two trained facilitators will accompany each group on the 4-5 hour tour. They will share information about the endemic fynbos and the fascinating geology of this unique World Heritage Site.
